Kiley began practicing as a registered dietitian in 2019 and became a midwife in 2025. After working in chronic disease management with a nutrition-focused approach, she recognized the key role midwives play in strengthening health literacy and chose to pursue the profession. Her professional goals focus on health education for clients and providers, guided by principles of health promotion and chronic disease prevention. Kiley’s past research experience includes two scoping reviews conducted in collaboration with Cecilia Jevitt. These reviews identified safe, person-centered strategies that support effective nutrition counseling for optimal gestational weight gain.
When she’s not hiking with her golden retriever, Rosie, Kiley divides her time between midwifery care and nutrition counseling in the Fraser Valley. Kiley joins Advantage Midwifery with a shared commitment to providing accessible, evidence-based resources designed to support learning for clients, educators, clinicians, and healthcare teams.
